Schedule: Full-Time | Wednesday–Saturday | 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM

Check out our website here: SAGE ConcordPosition SummaryAs a Client Intake Coordinator in our Emergency Department, you will be the essential link between our clients and clinical team during urgent and emotionally challenging situations. This role requires a calm, compassionate, and organized individual who can effectively triage incoming cases, communicate with empathy, and help streamline patient intake for optimal care delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the first point of contact for emergency clients, gathering key patient information and relaying it to the clinical teamAccurately and efficiently triage emergency cases based on presenting symptoms and urgencyObtain patient histories from clients and enter information into the medical recordTake initial vital signs and assist with physical intake of patients when appropriateCoordinate with technicians and doctors to prioritize cases and communicate updates to clientsMaintain accurate invoicing by entering service charges during the intake processPrepare exam rooms for incoming patients and maintain cleanlinessHelp manage client expectations with clarity, compassion, and professionalism during high-stress situationsSupport ER team flow and ensure timely handoffs between shiftsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of 2 years of clinical veterinary experience (ER or specialty hospital experience strongly preferred)Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skillsProven ability to stay calm under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environmentUnderstanding of veterinary terminology and emergency care protocolsComfortable lifting 40+ lbs and standing for extended periodsBilingual skills a plus, but not requiredSchedule4/10 schedule: Wednesday–SaturdaySwing Shift: 4:00 PM – 2:00 AMMust be available for some holidaysCompensation & BenefitsPay range: $25 – $32/hour, based on experienceShift Differential: Additional $5.50/hour for hours worked between 6 PM – 6 AMHealth, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance401(k) retirement plan with employer matchPaid time off and flexible spending accountsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Uniforms providedAnnual Veterinary Assistant allowanceLicense application and renewal reimbursement (for RVTs)Opportunities for career growth, training, and mentorshipWhy Join Us?At SAGE Concord, you’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team dedicated to advancing emergency veterinary care.
