Description
We are looking for Equipment Engineers to join our Production Engineering organization in Auburn WA and Fredrickson WA. This Electrical/Controls focused position will support exciting new endeavors in the Fabrication Division.
A successful candidate in this role will have passion creativity and an insatiable desire for process improvement and efficiency. They will also have a strong desire to be out on the production floor interacting with mechanics safety and equipment services and directly supporting the production system. In Production Engineering we need highly responsible professionals committed to upholding the highest standards of safety quality and integrity.
Primary Responsibilities:
This is an equipment development implementation and improvement role. This role involves reviewing electrical schematics control panel designs and troubleshooting technical issues. Additionally the role requires project management testing and commissioning of automated system acquisition and modification projects:
- Evaluate program and project requirements develop complex equipment concepts and design solutions for the Production System.
- Compile and analyze technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design usability and rate estimates.
- Ensure compliance with safety producibility maintainability reliability ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and release bid and purchase specifications for equipment needs from suppliers.
- Troubleshoot current production issues related to quality safety and repeatability.
- Develop and implement work-arounds and maintain configuration of hardware and documentation.
- Perform studies and make recommendations for disposition of assets.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00/hr.
