What you will be doing:

Operating a Railcar mover -we provide training and certification Using a Railcar mover to sort cars on the tracks to prepare for unloading activities Visually inspecting rail cars and performing air brake inspections Connecting steam lines to rail cars and monitoring temperature Unloading feedstock from rail cars using pumps and control systems Cross training and being willing to assist in the different functions performed at the facility Participating in and promoting Savage safety program

Requirements of a successful Equipment Operator:    

Perform basic maintenance tasks Basic computer skills Attend and pass all training associated with job related coursework. This includes but is not limited to: OSHA, HazMat and FRA related courses Willingness to wear required PPE Clear drug / alcohol test / criminal background check  Rail Industry and/or rail unloading/loading experience is a plus Work experience in an industrial environment Valid driver’s license Read, write and understand, and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English

Work outdoors in all weather conditions Comfortable with heights up to 30 feet Must be able to lift 50lbs independently
