About our role
As the newest Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will join Equipment Maintenance Team at the Programming Center. The Equipment Maintenance Technician Team consists of 2 others Equipment Maintenance Technicians who work in shifts, and report to the Technical & Business Support Manager. You’ll work alongside several operators who report to the 2 shift Supervisors (they handle the operations). In a regular shift you will participate in the shift kick off meetings with Team Leaders. After you have been fully briefed you are responsible for checking and prioritizing issues from our 24 machines reported via e-mail and our Shopfloor system. Next to that you will be performing scheduled preventative maintenance activities. And you may assist with installation, configuration operation and maintenance of systems, hardware and software, and related infrastructure in our logistics warehouse.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, digital, pneumatic systems and components such as servo and stepper motors, vision systems and cameras, pneumatic actuators, sensors (e.g. proximity, optical), PLCs and HMIs, Heating elements, circuit boards, etc.
Execution of preventive maintenance
Reporting on maintenance activities executed
Analysis of system errors
Replacements of machine spare parts
Communicate with in- and external business partners
Perform other duties / assignments that might be occasionally required
WHO YOU ARE?
You already have some technical experience
You can interpret engineering drawings in reference to layout and location
You can identify mechanical problems, and you have mechanical fault-rectification skills
You can easily handle work under pressure
You feel comfortable collaborating with others, but you can also work independently and make decisions when needed.
You are fluent in English

Working in shifts (6.00h - 15:00h; 8:00h - 17:00h; 15.00h - 24:00h)
