Job DescriptionDevelopment and standardization of new production equipment (related to curing and finishing processes) for all ContiTech products worldwideDevelopment and rollout of modifications according to the standards for existing production equipment (related to curing and finishing processes) for all ContiTech productsCreation, review and approval of specifications for the devices, requested from the ContiTech units with focus on standardizationSupport the business area or plant to achieve compliance with the planned project-specific parameters: unit labor costs, cycle time, process capability, scrap rate, energy and media consumption and emission rateAlignment with the available best practice and lessons learned measuresErgonomic and efficient design of machine, workplace and workflowRealization of advanced quality planning and quality assurance during the development processEnsuring the safety, energy and environmental managementProject lead or Co-project lead compliant to the ContiTech Standard Project Flow with the key project indicators: time and budget

QualificationsAcademic degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar (Machine design, process engineering, automation, production technology)Several years of experience in process engineering, machine design engineering or (serial) production engineering  High interest and experience in developing production technologyFluent German and English language skills in both spoken and written form  High motivation, strong communication skills, dedication, resilience, networking abilities, conceptual skills, moderation skills and willingness for continuous learningWillingness to travel
