Essential Responsibilities:
Perform basic administrative duties including issuing work orders, updating preventive maintenance schedules, record keeping.Liaise between Third Parties and Field Operations for planning of equipment transport, acquisitions, and disposalsForward planning to ensure the timely and most economical deployment of equipment as well as monitor utilization and manage deployment, including suspension and timely disposition of under-utilized itemsUpdate and maintain a variety of reports and tracking spreadsheets including updating certifications and compliance and maintaining equipment filesCoordinates the completion of preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections required to maintain compliance with company policy and state/federal regulations.Liaise with Operations team, mechanics and third-party vendors to schedule maintenance, track breakdowns and record repairsMonitor and report damage and abuse of owned/rental, which also involves tracking for corrective actionsQualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industryKnowledge of (CAN) transport regulations and maintenance processes and procedures as well as working knowledge / experience with heavy equipmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.Must be detail oriented.Demonstrates ability to learn and understand software programs and new systemsDemonstrated ability to engage, interact all levels of management – from mid-level managers to senior executivesPreference will be provided for candidates with previous experience managing heavy & light duty mechanicsStrong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint); familiarity with J.D. Edwards would be an assetMust have a valid provincial driver’s license and clean drivers abstractPrevious experience in equipment inventory would be an assetWork Conditions:
Office based positionMay be required to operate a vehicle for business purposes.Travel to various business sites will be required.Compensation
$50,400 - $69,300 Annually
This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
