Job Description
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will maintain the equipment in proper condition to be available whenever required by the user, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams. Reduce the operational costs by the Identification and implantation of improvement opportunities of the equipment used in the work area. Troubleshoot to diagnose problems; repairs and perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
Principles responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance to equipment according to the schedule to maintain them in Optimus performance conditions.
Perform corrective maintenance to equipment to restore it to have it available for usage. Complete speedy corrective maintenance. Participate in Root Cause Problem Solving exercise.
Maintain and repair the facility’s structure, equipment and grounds, including plumbing, electrical and Air Conditioning.
Work with manufacturing or process engineering in the installation or repair of equipment and fixtures used in the production process.
Make periodic or special inspections to equipment to determine repair work necessary and participate in continuous improvement events to contribute to the operations.
Ensure compliance with quality, health and safety rules and guidelines stablished. 100% compliance with all health and safety regulations and practices on site and compliance with EH&S risks, 100% PPE and LOTO technicians’ execution.
Document in the maintenance software the activities developed during the execution of the work to monitor the department performance.
PM, MTTR, MTBF & Down time compliance. Manage preventive and emergency maintenance of the equipment’s, considering that all maintenance work must be done correctly according to the strategies to meet workload demands.
Maintain the equipment at its maximum operating efficiency, minimize downtime and maintenance costs.
Mandatory trainning compliance and maintenance 5S rules at office maintenance, tools and any place were work is done.
Minimum Requirements:
High School and Technical education required, Electromechanical or related areas.
Certified in electronic or mechanical technician, with a degree from an entity such as INFOTEP.
4 years of experience in presentive/ corrective maintenance area.
Knowledge of office package; Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and PowerPoint.
