Search Contact Emailcvmbs-clinsci_hr@mail.colostate.edu Position Summary For our research program studying neurologic disease in horses, we are hiring an assistant to support individual projects. The research program studies anatomy and function of the nervous system in sound and clinically abnormal horses and studies horses under awake, sedated, and anesthetized conditions. Amongst others, we utilize diagnostic imaging and electrodiagnostic techniques to assess the various components of the nervous system. Outcomes for the research program include establishing anatomical and functional parameters that can be used to diagnose or follow progress of neurologic disease in horses in the clinical setting. Position Minimum Qualifications + BS, MS + > 20 years Equine research experience + Established record of publications in the field of equine research + Experienced record of grant applications. Preferred Qualifications + Experience working with exercise physiology equipment. + Experience working with gait assessment modalities. + Experience in using data analysis and statistical software. + Experience to prepare and submit manuscripts to be published.
