Equine Marketing Specialist
Dalton, OH
Hybrid -3 days onsite
The Marketing Specialist will focus on supporting the Marketing Manager and collaborating with the Technical Nutrition Marketing Specialist in the areas of digital/social media marketing and tradeshows. This role is expected to provide fact and insight-based solutions that drive growth for the BUCKEYE™ Nutrition brand.

Bachelor’s Degree required3+ years of experience in Social Media MarketingPrevious experience in Shopper and/or Brand Marketing, Digital MarketingEquine experience requiredStrong communication skills and attention to detailStrong creative thinker with the ability to develop and activate unique solutions that support the overall strategy.Strong command skills with the ability to present and influence at various levels across the organization both internally and with key customers.Familiarity with customer strategies and differences amongst channelsAbility to lift 50 lbs.Approx. 15-20% travel, overnights and weekendsWhat would be your key responsibilities?
Develop and manage digital and social media strategies to drive business objectivesManage all social media platforms, and plan, create and manage a range of content across multiple channels to build brand awareness, including community management and analytics reportsWork with agencies to design, create and deploy branded content, product features, dealer/distributor promotions and informational materials supporting our position as a leader in horse nutrition and supporting sales team requestsMaintain and update the website, including production of web content in a manner that is appealing to targeted audience, developing brand awareness, generating inbound traffic, and encouraging conversionDevelop external communications to support overall business objectives and position BUCKEYE Nutrition as a leader on key topics in horse care and nutritionManage the media outreach with trade media, stakeholders and influencers to drive increased visibility of BUCKEYE Nutrition in the US and Canada, including press releases and business announcements as necessaryManage sponsored rider program, including social media calendar, BUCKEYE Nutrition branding, engagement, and communication to ensure optimal ROICoordination of and attendance at events such as trade shows and conferencesProofread packaging and organize artworkDevelop customer-specific shopper marketing strategies, working with brand / customer marketing / sales to align on annual planning objectivesParticipate in any training that is deemed necessary to enhance existing skills, enabling you to successfully carry out your duties in an efficient and productive mannerAny other duties deemed necessary to carry out your role effectivelyWhat can you expect from Mars?
