Summary You will serve as a Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Special Projects & Affirmative Employment Program (AEP) Manager and Special Assistant to the Command EEO Director of USPACFLT EEO PROGRAM MANAGEMENT. Responsibilities You will study high visibility and potentially problem areas, particularly those concerning compliance with EEO laws and alignment to recent case-law decisions and where applicable agency directives have not been issued. You will analyze and interpret changes to EEO program policies, procedures, and practices to determine impact on EEO operations. You will develop guidance and procedures for new and changing program areas. You will provide support in annual Model EEO program assessments, implementation of EEO plans, and barrier identification and elimination in accordance with the EEO Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Management Directive-715 (MD-715). You will liaise with professionals from various communities, utilizes diverse networks to enhance collaboration, interfaces with experts within and outside DON, and leverages relationships to advance PAC FL T's EEO. program. You will serve as the principle advisor to the Director and other managers on operational and management support services. You will perform continuous review and analysis of EEO staff knowledge and skill levels to identify trends, gaps, and precedents. You will Identifies deficiencies, exceptions, or changes in priorities in program performance and recommends appropriate action. You will Integrates program status indicators to produce overview of total program in detail required for management decision making. You will reviews directives from higher authority and directs changes as applicable including advising management as to potential impact. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) concepts, principles, and methods to execute and evaluate federal civilian EEO Program areas; advising on the application of EEO program regulatory requirements; and developing strategic initiatives and recommendations to mitigate systemic problems and improve program performance.
