Epicor Engineer Application Development
The Opportunity:Under limited supervision, monitor and maintain the efficiency of software applications. Manage code migration across environments to ensure continued and synchronized functionality. Provide software application support. Establish the root causes of application errors. Perform analyses on software application functionality and suggesting improvements. Ensure effective front end and back end functionality of applications.

JOB DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will be responsible for converting business requirements into solutions that utilize Epicor Kinetic ERP capabilities. You will play a key role in creating and maintaining customizations using Kinetic functions, Application Studio, BPMs, Data Directives, BAQs, forms and dashboards. Additionally, you will be involved in SQL Report writing using SSRS and ensuring compliance with change control processes and documentation standards.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement and configure Epicor Kinetic ERP into new manufacturing and distribution businesses.Patch & upgrade the ERP on a regular cadence and manage testing with the business.Collaborate with businesses and stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into business system process maps and technical specifications.Develop and maintain customizations in Epicor Kinetic using Application Studio, BPMs, Data Directives, API’s and FunctionsCreate and manage BAQs and dashboards.Utilize SQL Report Writing skills using SSRS.Adhere to change control processes and documentation standards.Experience in business process automation & BI Reporting/Dashboards.Monitor and analyze the live system proactively to figure out system stability, and performance, and identify any potential malfunctioning in business flow and logical implementation.Closely work with other consultants to ensure the technical solution & its architecture is fit for the purpose.Serve as trouble-shooter and escalation point for critical/complex technical issues.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience, and Certifications)

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (computer science or other equivalent majors). Prefer an advanced degree.8-10 years of overall experience in the IT industry.Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Epicor ERP 10 / Kinetic2 years of experience using REST API3 years of experience in SQL Relational Databases, including SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, Stored Procedures, and functions.Proficiency in C# programming (3 years of experience)Strong knowledge of the manufacturing and distribution industryExcellent presentation and communication skills to interact with various leaders.Overall expertise in ERP systems is desirable.Solid understanding of networking and infrastructure supporting the ERPStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Collaborative abilities to work effectively in a team environment.Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT (Under Typical Conditions)

Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level.Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedents are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems.A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on a routine basis. Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs.
