EPC Sales Engineer in ISV
**Job Summary:** You will grow sales, including aftermarket warranties, within your assigned territory or through distribution channels. You will see opportunities early in the sales cycle to drive revenue growth and enhance our market presence. Working alongside the assigned EPC accounts, you will focus on prospecting, developing new projects, and expanding business with existing accounts. **In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Achieve sales targets to convert accounts and penetrate existing accounts to increase the sales + Work in conjunction with the local business partners to optimize sales + Acquire new customers to exceed sales expectations. + Build the relationships with key collaborators and influencers at growth- oriented accounts + Proactively promote ISV products and service solutions by using marketing programs, demonstrating field resources, and providing distributor and end-user product trainings + Manage internal sales team relationships and bring in Product Sales Specialists to assist in project sales + Find customer needs to uncover additional opportunities within accounts across all + The Business Title, Job Title, Job Grade and/or scope of responsibilities may be altered from time to time and as required by the Company. **Who You Are:** You enforce individual accountability in the team. You deliver messages in a clear, compelling, and concise manner. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Mechanical Engineering or technical experience + Minimum 3 years of relevant technical sales experience in the valve industry + Knowledge of industrial valves is a strong advantage + Prior experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, water, water treatment, power, mining and/or related process industries will be highly advantageous + Strong communication and relationship building skills that can optimally translate leads to sales in order to work collaboratively with internal resources + Exhibit strong competency in sales by regularly achieving business outcomes that accurately meet forecast + Strategically prioritize and suitably adapt and improve on account management approach as and when it is important to focus on great outcome for everyone situations + Understand regional market trends and how they impact customer needs and opportunities. + Proactively learn more on the products and understanding how to differentiate product offerings competitively + Show impacts on customers for the assigned geographical territory + Be resourceful and comfortable in navigating through internal resources by collaborating cross-functionally and can use resources effectively + Willing to travel. + Build Customer Relationships Resulting in Sales: Maintains strong, long-term business and personal relationships with decision makers to understand current and future business needs. Serves as a recognized, trusted advisor in Valves and Controls within the market and among customer bases. Leverages network with customers to identify new potential customers. + Regularly achieve results that accurately exceed forecast. + Understand outstanding value propositions around Final Control product portfolio. Consistently uses cross-selling opportunities across all accounts to create additional value. + Proactively learn weaknesses of/points of differentiation with product offerings within their territory and shares this knowledge with peers and manager. Quantifies and qualifies the advantage of Final Control’s products and services over those of competitors (delivery, technical expertise, superior customer service and support, trusted brand, etc.). + Use in-depth knowledge of technology and regulation changes to strengthen Pentair’s value proposition. + Collaborate cross-functionally within Emerson resources to share best-practices, customer information, leads, and other pertinent business information.
