UGL’s in-house engineering and design capability, together with our strong project delivery and operations and maintenance expertise puts us in a strong position in the market. Our target project opportunities include Solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems, and Wind Projects, as well as Hydrogen and Ammonia projects.

The UGL New Energy Team is seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join our energy team.

ABOUT THE POSITION ON OFFER
It is a site-based FIFO/DIDO role, and you can be in WA/SA/QLD/VIC

The HSEQ Advisor will report directly to the Project Manager HSE Manager. You will be responsible for providing HSE advice, support, and direction to our project delivery teams on all HSE-related matters.

Main responsibilities include:

Providing a timely and responsible SH serviceInvolvement with the development of Work Packs – methodology and Risk assessmentsEnsuring compliance with the agreed mythology of activity as per the Work Pack and compliance with the organization’s SH policy, procedures, and legislative requirementsAssisting in investigating incidents and accidents, and responding with corrective actionsConduct regular synergy mobility inspections and audits.

The successful candidate will require:

Minimum certificate 4 in OHS management; ideally, a Diploma-level qualification in a relevant safety discipline.Strong experience in a similar site-based role in the construction industryRobust understanding of the WHS Act and RegulationsExperience in Safety Management System implementation
