ResponsibilitiesConduct TVAC testing to simulate the thermal and vacuum conditions of space.Perform environmental testing, including temperature, humidity, and altitude tests.Execute vibration and shock testing to assess the durability of components under launch and operational conditions.Set up and operate test equipment, including thermal chambers, vibration tables, and shock machines.Monitor and record test data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports.Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure optimal performance.Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.Essential SkillsExperience with TVAC chambers, vibration tables, and shock testing equipment.Proficiency in environmental testing techniques.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate degree in a related field or equivalent technical training.Minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental testing, preferably in the aerospace industry.Familiarity with data acquisition systems and software is a plus.Work Environment
The role requires working in a lab/cleanroom environment, utilizing advanced test equipment such as thermal chambers and vibration tables.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $45.00/hr.
