As our Environmental Services Lead, you will take pride in providing a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. In the absence of the supervisor, you will lead the work of Environmental Services employees. You will serve as a role model by demonstrating top-notch environmental service skills and courteous and professional behavior toward patients, physicians, visitors, volunteers, and other employees.
Executes the daily duties required to establish and maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment.Responsible for cleaning and disinfection of all areas of the facility, including speciality units.Performs all types of floor care and maintenance throughout the facility, including hard surfaces and carpeting.Performs duties while demonstrating working knowledge of the health care cleaning and disinfecting principles and requirements, proper and safe chemical use, equipment handling, and labor saving products for all items within the specialty environment tasked with servicing.Assist in onboarding new Environment Services Technicians and serve as a mentor.Remain patient, kind and personable in all interactions with patients, visitors and staff.The job summary and responsibilities listed above are designed to indicate the general nature of the work performed within this job. Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED preferred.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
