Environmental & Sustainability Specialist

Our client, a globally leading EPC company is looking for an Environmental & Sustainability Specialist to join them on a permanent contract in Torness.
Duties include: Support Environmental Compliance: Assist with daily environmental and sustainability tasks, ensuring adherence to regulations and project requirements. Deliver Training and Briefings: Conduct toolbox talks and training sessions on environmental, sustainability, and carbon-related topics for site personnel. Monitor and Report Performance: Track and report on sustainability metrics such as carbon emissions, waste, and energy use to support decision-making. Conduct Site Inspections and Monitoring: Perform regular inspections and assist with monitoring water, waste, air quality, and BREEAM infrastructure compliance. Maintain Project Documentation: Keep environmental and sustainability plans updated throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate Across Teams: Work with environmental managers, engineers, and design teams to integrate sustainable practices and meet project KPIs. Requirements: 0 - 2 years of experience. Environmental Science, Engineering or similar degree. Experienced with MS Office and similar tools. Ability to work on site full time and travel when needed.
