Environmental Service Team Leader
Job Title: Environmental Services Team LeaderDepartment: Environmental Services Location: Edna Tina Wilson Living Center Hours Per Week: 40Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30am-3pm with flexibility to cover weekends or evening shifts if needed SUMMARY: Responsible for coordinating, directing, and assisting with the completion of tasks assigned to Environmental Services personnel. Assists day-to-day operations, schedules and coordinates special ES projects. Works collaboratively with the Supervisor of ES to maintain operational standards and department goals. Provide superior customer service by modeling the Brand Promise and Core Values. RESPONSIBILITIES: + Responsible for developing daily work assignments. + Instructs and monitors cleaning techniques and procedures. + Able to prioritize needs of department and use resources available to deliver expected outcomes. + Maintain supply inventory through daily monitoring; ordering supplies as needed. + Assists in department record keeping and QA. + Provides input used by the supervisor in performance appraisals and the disciplinary process. + Acts as a role model and mentors and provides on-the-job training to all new employees. + Attend/participate in mandatory educational programs as defined by both hospital and departmental policies. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: + Two years experience in Environmental Services. + Demonstrated leadership ability. + Able to perform all essential functions for: Hospitality Assistant, Environmental Service Aide, Floor Care Technician. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: + High school graduate or equivalent preferred. EDUCATION: LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting. For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements. PAY RANGE: $17.75 - $19.65 CITY: Rochester POSTAL CODE: 14612 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
