Tavares, FL 32778 **The role you'll contribute:** Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors by following procedures and standards established by the department. Will provide excellent customer services when working with patients, visitors and other staff members. Responsible for providing leadership and support to the Environmental Services staff. **The value you'll bring to the team:** Supervisor is requested upon a problem, complaint, or question Environmental Services Worker Lead cannot answer. Assists coworkers during busy periods. Coordinates the daily activities of the Environmental Services staff. May participate in the hiring and selection process. Trains new staff and mentors/coaches existing staff on procedures, policies, problem solving and critical thinking. Provides input and recommendations for work performance evaluations and corrective actions. Participation in making collaborative decisions that contributes to the success of the organization. Implements and completes required special projects as appropriate for facility. Uses effective tools and methodologies for project planning, tracking and implementation. Conducts process improvement and quality assurance inspections as required. Performs data management for quality standards and compliance. Perform or assist with meeting room set-ups and furniture moving using proper body mechanics to avoid injury. Practice an awareness of supply costs; use them as instructed and at correct dilution. Have a working knowledge of proper chemical usage and dilution. Maintains proper usage of all equipment, materials and supplies. Cleans equipment before being properly stored. Maintain good attendance record in accordance with department policy. Observes scheduled working hours by reporting to work on time each day (timecard). Consistently shows up for work on scheduled work days. Completes assigned tasks at an acceptable level of quality and in the appropriate timeframes.
