ChristianaCare is seeking a dedicated Service Assistant II to join our Environmental Services team. In this essential role, you’ll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors — directly contributing to the quality of care we provide.

Schedule:Full-Time (40/hours weekly)Day Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)Requires working every other weekendIncludes working holiday rotation

What You’ll Do:Clean and sanitize patient rooms, offices, and common areasMaintain carts, equipment, and supply closets in a safe and orderly conditionSupport infection control procedures, including cleaning precaution roomsRespond promptly to service requests via phone and appRemove trash, soiled linen, and infectious wastePerform floor care duties including stripping, refinishing, shampooing carpets/upholstery, and washing walls/windowsAssist with transporting furniture and equipmentAttend training sessions and report maintenance issuesUphold safety standards and maintain confidentiality

What You Bring:High school diploma preferredMinimum 2 years of customer service experienceAbility to communicate clearly and maintain a helpful attitudePhysical ability to stand, walk, and lift throughout your shiftComfort using smartphones or PDAs for work assignments
