Responsibilities **Environmental Restoration Subject Matter Expert** The mission of the Department of Defense (DoD) Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program (SERDP) and the Environmental Security Technology Certification Program (ESTCP) is to develop and demonstrate innovative, scalable technologies that enhance military readiness, improve warfighter capabilities, and strengthen defense infrastructure. A critical component of this mission is the management of sites impacted by chemicals of concern such as per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), chlorinated solvents, and munitions constituents on current and former military installations. Noblis is positioned to provide technical and programmatic support in the broad area of environmental restoration to execute the mission of these DoD Programs. We are actively seeking an **Environmental Restoration Subject Matter Expert** with knowledge and experience in this area to join our team of talented professionals to successfully support the strategic goals of SERDP and ESTCP. This is a client-facing position. The successful applicant will work within the SERDP and ESTCP team, and will: + Provide in-depth subject matter expertise to support the DoD Program Manager for Environmental Restoration in the areas environmental restoration technologies, ecotoxicity/ecological risk, sampling & analysis, fate & transport, and occurrence of chemicals of concern. + Assist in the development of solicitation topics that address DoD’s environmental restoration issues. + Provide technical recommendations on the merit of research and demonstration proposals. + Provide technical review of project deliverables including demonstration plans, white papers, and technical reports. + Provide input on the progress of funded projects. + Provide input into the development of strategic plans as requested. + Actively participate in and attend relevant SERDP and ESTCP meetings, workshops, and Symposium. Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package. Posted Salary Range USD $112,700.00 - USD $176,150.00 /Yr.
