The Environmental Project Manager is responsible for preparing proposals, budgets, assisting in marketing, directing, and training project managers and technical field staff. This role also involves final review of technical progress and completion reports on projects and serves as the liaison between regulatory agency members, client representatives, and assigned staff members.
ResponsibilitiesPerform and supervise Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA's), primarily in Southeast Florida.Develop sampling plans and proposals for Phase II ESA's and oversee their completion.Prepare Site Assessment Reports, and design and implement various remedial strategies to pursue NFA or NFAC in accordance with Contaminated Site Cleanup Criteria as listed in Chapter 62-780, Florida Administrative Code.Perform and complete petroleum storage tank closure assessments.Prepare dewatering plans for projects involving contaminated sites.Complete various soil, groundwater, and surface water assessment/monitoring reports.Essential SkillsMinimum of five years of experience in performing Phase I and Phase II environmental property assessment preparation.Technical writing, communication, and data evaluation skills.Technical knowledge of and extensive experience with relevant ASTM Practices, Chapter 62-780, FAC and other applicable contaminant-related DEP and Southeast Florida county regulations.Additional Skills & QualificationsProfessional Engineer (PE) certification.Reliability and detail orientation.Excellent time management.Strong English communication and technical writing skills.Work EnvironmentWe emphasize a professional but low-key work environment with a full benefit package available, including health, dental insurance, paid time off, and 401(k).
