About the RoleWe’re looking for a seasoned Environmental Project Manager to join our growing team in Irvine, CA. This role is a strategic backfill for a senior technical leader and offers the opportunity to lead complex environmental investigation and remediation projects across Southern California. You’ll work closely with clients, regulators, and internal teams to deliver high-impact environmental solutions.
What You’ll DoLead environmental projects from scoping through closureManage budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teamsOversee site investigations, remediation design, and regulatory reportingPrepare technical memoranda and detailed reportsInterface with clients and regulatory agencies (RWQCB, DTSC, EPA)Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team cultureSupport proposal development and occasional business developmentMust-Have QualificationsB.S. or M.S. in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or Civil/Environmental Engineering10–15+ years of experience in environmental investigation and remediationCalifornia PG (Professional Geologist) or PE (Professional Engineer), or ability to obtainStrong experience with:Phase I/II ESAs and subsurface investigationsRegulatory negotiation and complianceSite remediation systems (design, construction, O&M)Soil, soil vapor, and groundwater samplingExcellent technical writing and client communication skillsProven ability to manage full project teamsBonus ExperienceFamiliarity with PFAS, vapor intrusion, and other emerging contaminantsExperience with Southern California regulatory agencies and client sectors (e.g., real estate, utilities, private industry)Why Join Us?Employee-owned firm with a strong referral-based client networkCollaborative, mentorship-driven office cultureStock purchase opportunities at $6/shareWork on high-impact projects across LA to San DiegoBe part of a team that values deep technical expertise and strategic thinkingPay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $175000.00/yr.
