ERM is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to join our team, supporting projects in the mining, oil & gas, and energy sectors in Georgetown, Guyana.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Geology, Biology, or related fields.
Proven 5+ years of experience in the mining and/or oil and gas and/or energy sectors.
Experience in environmental impact assessment, comprehensive water management projects (hydrological/hydrogeological studies), biodiversity management, and/or waste management.
Knowledge of contractor management and team supervision.
Proficiency in English (Mandatory) and Spanish (Desirable).
Residency in Guyana or willingness to travel.
Supervision and coordination of work teams.
Responsibilities:
Management and control of budgets and execution deadlines.
Direct interaction with the client to ensure satisfaction and compliance with requirements.
Participation in the preparation of reports, such as environmental and social impact studies.
Proposal preparation and participation in contract negotiations.
Collaboration in interdisciplinary teams to address technical and operational project challenges.
Attendance at internal and external training to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the position and project.
Management of project administrative aspects, including internal procedures, contractor monitoring, and expense reporting.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards on all projects.
