Job Title: Environmental ProfessionalJob Description We are seeking an experienced Environmental Professional (EP) to perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) in accordance with ASTM E-1527-21. This role involves site reconnaissance, regulatory research, and technical report preparation for commercial and residential properties. Responsibilities + Perform and prepare Phase I ESAs in accordance with ASTM E-1527-21. + Conduct records review, site reconnaissance, and identify Recognized Environmental Conditions (RECs), Business Environmental Risks (BERs), and non-scope items. + Conduct interviews and investigate regulatory listings. + Evaluate environmental compliance. + Manage research, field activities, and report preparation. + Develop conclusions and recommendations. + Interpret data and prepare technical reports. Essential Skills + Bachelor’s degree in geology, environmental science, engineering, or related field. + 5+ years performing Phase I ESAs. + Must meet the definition of an Environmental Professional per 40 CFR §312.10(b). + Experience with equity purchase and lender Phase I ESAs. + Proficiency in report writing and environmental compliance. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Knowledge of environmental remediation and investigations. + Experience with site inspection and environmental assessments. + Understanding of Environmental Assessments (EA) and Environmental Impact Statements (EIS). Work Environment This position involves 85% office work and 15% fieldwork for site visits. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $40.87/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
