Job Title: Environmental Monitoring Technician (3rd Shift)

Job Description

As an Environmental Monitoring Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine sampling, monitoring, and data analysis of viable and non-viable particulates to ensure compliance with internal SOPs and regulatory standards. Your role will involve collecting samples from production, swabbing equipment or personnel, streaking plates, and performing plate counts to inspect for growth. You will assist in trend analysis and prepare environmental monitoring reports while adhering to aseptic techniques and gowning procedures in classified areas.

ResponsibilitiesConduct routine environmental monitoring, including sampling and data analysis.Collect samples from production areas by swabbing equipment or personnel.Streak plates and perform plate counting to check for microbial growth.Report colony counts and data into the computer system.Assist in trend analysis and preparation of environmental monitoring reports.Follow aseptic techniques and gowning procedures in classified areas.Essential SkillsBachelor's Degree in Life Science (Biology, Microbiology, BMS, Cellular & Molecular, etc.)Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a GMP Manufacturing Facility.Work Environment

This role is based in a cGMP facility regulated by the FDA. You will work the 3rd shift, from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work weekends as needed. The facility operates on strict aseptic procedures, and the dress code requires gowning in classified areas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
