Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor

The Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor is responsible for implementing and maintaining programs that ensure compliance with environmental regulations and workplace safety standards. This role plays a key part in fostering a culture of safety and sustainability across manufacturing and distribution operations.

Compensation: $54,080.00 annual salary (US Dollars)

The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program

401(k) – You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.

Key Responsibilities: Monitor and enforce compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and lead root cause analysis. Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors. Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, training, permits, and environmental compliance. Support environmental initiatives including waste management, recycling, and hazardous material handling. Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and HR teams to ensure alignment with safety goals. Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and drills. Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety and environmental compliance. Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies and external auditors. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in EHS roles within a manufacturing or distribution environment. Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations. Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS management systems. Certifications such as OSHA 30, HAZWOPER, or CSP are a plus. Working Conditions: Frequent presence on the production floor and warehouse areas. May require occasional evening or weekend work for audits, training, or incident response. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Exposure to industrial environments including noise, dust, and temperature variations.
