PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a proactive and tech-savvy Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Technician to support our Environmental Health and Safety initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a digital environment and is passionate about promoting workplace safety through smart systems and independent execution.
About the Role
As an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Technician, you will play a key role in supporting digital integration within our EHS Safety Management System. While inspections and audits are part of the job, your primary focus will be on documentation, system support, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance safety culture and compliance across our operations.
Key Responsibilities Conduct inspections and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions. Investigate incidents and near-misses, document findings, and propose preventative measures. Participate in EHS training sessions to ensure staff understanding of safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of safety training, incident reports, and compliance documentation. Collaborate with teams to promote environmental stewardship and safety awareness. Manage inventory and ordering of medical, safety, and emergency response equipment. Assist with ergonomic equipment assembly and delivery. Support EHS Lead in implementing corrective actions and updating site policies. Perform light facilities work, including signage installation and other assigned tasks.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: 1 year of experience in an EHS role. Strong computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision. Must be a “US Person” under US export laws due to access to controlled technology and materials. Preferred Qualifications: 3 years of EHS experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment. Experience with database maintenance and digital documentation. Pay Details: $19.44 to $28.28 per hour
