Job DescriptionAs an Environmental Health and Safety Advisor, you will proactively engage with employees, consultants, contractors, vendors, and other business partners, ensuring they have the right tools and are following best practices to create, promote, and foster a compliant EHS culture for all.You will provide mentorship and coaching to EHS support teams, partner with Operations to evaluate and conduct Job Hazard Analysis/Risk Assessments, and create, document, and implement best practices, training programs, and job aids to educate and enhance EHS initiatives.Your role involves preventing incidents and achieving EHS compliance.ResponsibilitiesPartner with operational leadership, Design/Engineering, Business Continuity, and other stakeholders to provide results and guidance for various EHS initiatives.Make recommendations for cross-functional solutions from integrated input from Store Operations, Construction, Distribution, and Manufacturing.Influence and teach others how to champion necessary change to enhance environmental compliance and human safety.Measure results, develop strategic corrective actions, and guide or execute implementation across the company.Partner with operations to ensure a systematic process to thoroughly investigate incidents, make connections, identify trends/opportunities, and make proactive recommendations.Influence workflow, equipment, and the work environment to improve EHS while balancing people, service, and productivity needs.Complete special projects and assignments as needed.Essential SkillsIndustrial hygiene knowledgeEnvironmental Health and Safety expertiseHealth and safety knowledgeConstruction safety knowledgeMachine safeguarding skillsManufacturing safety skillsKnowledge of Lockout Tagout (LOTO)OSHA complianceStrong knowledge in safety programs including Machine Safeguarding, Electrical Safety / LOTO, and PITIncident Investigation Root Cause Analysis skillsVelocityEHS and ADO systems proficiencyAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related field or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) certificationDistribution and/or Manufacturing experienceStore Operations experienceCSP: Certified Safety ProfessionalASP: Associate Safety ProfessionalCHMM: Certified Hazardous Materials ManagerWillingness to be on feet within a manufacturing area throughout the dayAbility to wear a uniform as neededWork EnvironmentThis role is based onsite at the corporate location and requires travel to stores depending on the need.The work environment involves being within a facility rather than environmental, requiring you to be on your feet within a manufacturing area throughout the day, wearing a uniform as needed.This is not an auditor position, but it involves observing instances of non-compliance.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $48.00/hr.
