Job overview and responsibilities
The Environmental Engineer Coordinator is responsible for develop and implement the culture, programs and procedures of environmental program in the Hangar Heavy Maintenance and Line Maintenance Operation as well.
Interact with Leadership from all departments in development of plans, programs and procedures concerning different aspects of the Environmental area applicable to the business, aiming at full compliance with the set of Brazilian Environment legislation (federal, state, and local) and the continuous improvement of the processes.Coordinate all Environmental plans, programs, and procedures, facilitating implementation across departments and working together to allocate the most appropriate resourcesCoordinate the obtaining and maintenance of Environmental Licenses and support other departments in demands related to environmental bodies of public spheres and airport authorities, establishing partnerships inside and outside the organization, maintaining compliance and identifying discrepancies in relation to Brazilian legislation and corporate policiesCoordinate all the necessary actions to develop and maintain the entire flow of authorizations and documents that prove the correct management of wastes and effluents resulting from the companys operations, from generation to destinationCoordinate all actions necessary to develop and maintain in proper operation of effluent treatment plants (ETE), temporary storage areas for solid wastes (including hazardous) and potable water distribution systemsCreate key performance indicators and analyze their trends to define and develop guidelines and standards, establishing priorities to reduce waste of resources, incidents, liabilities, and lawsuitsConduct periodic inspections and monitor corrective action plans and opportunities for improvement, as well as conduct drills and other activities related to the companys Environmental Emergency resourcesThis position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.
