About the role.
Key areas of focus will include Environmental Management System ownership, efficient operation of equipment, maintenance planning, and employee relations. Under the direction of the Plant Engineer, you will support the plant strategy through the SQCDPE framework (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People and Environment) as we work towards continuous improvement throughout the facility. Plans, organizes, and directs the operation, maintenance modifications, and improvement for the water and wastewater treatment plant. This includes all planning and monitoring required for the Covered Anaerobic Lagoon, Secondary Treatment and Biogas Operation.
Oversight of wastewater and environmental operations, i.e. industrial wastewater system, sludging system, crop management, mud systems, monitor and manage water supply wells.Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance with all wastewater, water supply, solid waste, air, and hazardous waste permits.Manage ISO 14001:2015 Environmental EMS Program and continuous improvement measuresLead internal and external auditing activities- Includes utilizing Intelex to track action itemsMaintains accurate operational records and prepares reports required by Management, Corporate, Global, and all regulatory agencies.What you’ll need to be successful.
