ERM China seeks an exceptional individual to join as an Environmental Consulting Senior Associate / Consultant in our Capital Projects Delivery Team based in Beijing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Act as a Consultant in Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and Environmental and Social Due Diligence, ESG management consulting projects, which includes but not limited to:

Environmental and Social Impact AssessmentEnvironmental and Social Due Diligence in line with IFC standardsEnvironmental and Social/ESG Management System improvementEH&S regulatory and compliance serviceResponsible for managing small to medium size projects, from proposal development to deliveryAssist on project objectives from sources and methods provided by the company or developed individuallyCommunicating with clients and getting acquired information

REQUIREMENTS:

Master degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, sustainable development, sociology, resettlement, or related discipline1 -3 years relevant working experience in multi-national companies is preferable. Fresh graduates with relevant internships are welcomed to applyFamiliar with Chinese environmental regulatory requirements and international Environmental & Social risk management standards such as IFC Performance StandardsExcellent report writing skills. Fluency in both written and spoken English is a fundamental requirementFamiliarity with software including MS Office, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, etc.Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervisionSecond language skill (such as French) is preferred
