Job Summary

We are seeking an Environmental Assurance & Data Specialist to support the planning, development, and implementation of systems and tools for environmental performance and compliance reporting. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting to meet corporate, regulatory, and lender requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as Subject Matter Expert for software and tools used in environmental reporting and modelling (e.g., GHG, waste, water, biodiversity).

Collect, review, trend, and submit environmental compliance and performance data to meet internal and external reporting requirements.

Coordinate the preparation and analysis of corporate environmental performance reports.

Lead periodic environmental emissions reporting and analysis.

Support and initiate Management of Change (MOC) processes to ensure compliance with environmental requirements.

Maintain and optimize environmental compliance data systems and records.

Perform regular audits of environmental data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Identify and recommend GHG emissions reduction initiatives.

Assist in the development and implementation of the project’s Environmental Management System.

Qualifications & Experience:

University degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

5–10 years of experience in environmental compliance and data management, preferably within Oil & Gas or large-scale industrial projects.

Experience with GHG emissions calculations and reporting.

Familiarity with corporate and regulatory environmental performance reporting standards.

Proficiency in environmental data management systems and analytics.

Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.

Fluent in English (written and spoken); Portuguese language skills are an advantage.
