Environment Engineer
Environment Engineer - To ensure all Environmental related programs and activities are properly implemented, monitored and continually improve. Ensure compliance to all applicable Environmental legal and other requirement to all Asurion PH Sites..Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System (EMS) in alignment with ISO 14001 standards.Serve as the Lead Pollution Control Officer (PCO) for all Philippine sites, including Calamba, Nuvali, Clark, Iloilo, and PDOC.Provide consultative support and expert guidance to designated PCOs across other Asurion sites, fostering consistency and compliance in environmental practices.Oversee Chemical Management processes, ensuring full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Champion Environmental and Sustainability Programs, including the development and execution of procedures that support water and energy efficiency, conservation initiatives, and achievement of AOP reduction targets across all sites.Plan, organize, and coordinate environmental programs, emergency drills, seminars, and awareness activities to promote a culture of sustainability.Establish, implement, and regularly review environmental policies, procedures, systems, documentation, and processes to ensure alignment with EMS requirements.Facilitate compliance with government regulations by managing the application, renewal, and securing of permits from LLDA, DENR, PEZA, PDEA, PNP, and other relevant agencies.Prepare and submit periodic compliance reports such as SMR, CMR, PDEA, and PNP reports, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.Lead the preparation of competitive entry packages for environmental awards and recognition, showcasing the organization’s commitment to sustainability.Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and control of the environmental budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.Conduct investigations and root cause analyses of environmental incidents, submitting reports to EHS leadership and regulatory bodies as required.Perform regular environmental inspections, audits, hazard identification, risk assessments, and implementation of control measures.Collaborate with government agencies during inspections, accident investigations, and other environmental programs across all sites.Deliver environmental seminars and orientations to employees, covering EMS awareness, chemical safety, pollution control, and applicable legal requirements.Strengthen environmental programs to support site growth and promote sustainable operations, reducing the environmental footprint and achieving strategic goals.Support Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and contribute to broader Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) programs and activities.

Experiences, Skillsets & Personal Competencies

At least 5 years of relevant working experience.Accredited Pollution Control OfficerMust possess high level of technical competence in the areas of Environment and Chemical Management.Must be knowledgeable in Environmental related laws and regulations; highly knowledgeable in ISO 14001.Strong business knowledge, good judgment and decision making, excellent organizational and communication skills;Proficient in MS Office Applications.
