Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) in Oklahoma City, OK, is seeking an Entry-Level Systems Engineer. This role will focus on supporting digital transformation initiatives across the Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers (MS&B) division. The ideal candidate may engage in digital engineering, simulation and model-based development with a collaborative approach to support resources, track performance, and contribute to successful team execution across multiple programs. Additionally, the ideal candidate will utilize strong communication skills to interface with cross-functional teams, management, customers, and suppliers to help resolve technical issues and support organizational objectives.

Primary Responsibilities (Required Skills/Experience):

Collaborate with cross-functional capability teams to define and document system requirements, enhancing the division's understanding of best practices and tools necessary for effective requirement management throughout the engineering lifecycle.Assist in the development and maintenance of functional and logical architecture models, promoting knowledge sharing and training initiatives to improve team proficiency in system design and integration.Support physical design activities by identifying and developing training materials that enhance the team's capabilities in creating detailed design specifications and interface definitions.Facilitate the use of modeling and simulation tools by providing guidance and training to team members, helping to analyze system performance and validate design concepts effectively.Contribute to verification and validation efforts by developing training resources that empower team members to ensure systems meet defined requirements and performance criteria.Promote the implementation of model-based development practices by identifying knowledge gaps and assisting in the creation of training programs that enhance the team's digital toolset proficiency.Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in digital engineering and simulation technologies, sharing insights and facilitating training sessions to drive innovation and enhance the division's overall capabilities.Apply systems thinking to understand program interdependencies and assess how changes influence cost, schedule, and performance outcomes.Assist in gathering, organizing, and analyzing technical, budgetary, and schedule data from multiple sources to monitor team performance against established baseline plans.Prepare and present clear and concise briefings for internal and external stakeholders, covering program status, earned value metrics, change activities, and other key performance indicators.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, management, customers, and suppliers to advance program objectives.Identify, assess, and communicate risks, issues, and opportunities that affect budget, schedule, and overall program health.Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on program tracking, reporting processes, and earned value management practices.

This position is 100% onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.Experience as a self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills, and a focus on translating technically complex issues into simple, easy to understand concepts2+ years related systems engineering work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Active security clearanceExperience with Military or Commercial aircraft design and/or analysis experience within Airframe, Flight Sciences, Interiors, Propulsion, or SystemsExperience of how to derive and allocate requirements (e.g., system, sub-system, software) and show traceability throughout the product lifecycleExperience working across multiple business units and/or complex organizationsExperience communicating with senior leadership and program customers
