In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and suggesting resolutions for application-related issues within our products. This will include working with product development teams across the organization. This person will also be responsible for researching and suggesting ways to improve and automate processes.

About The Role:

In this opportunity as Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for: 

Diagnose site reliability issues from multiple sources (QA Team, System Monitoring, etc.)Driving efficiencies and reducing risks from a technology perspectiveResearching capabilities, testing new solutions, recommending and implementing new technologies to improve our effectivenessCollaborating and partnering with cross-functional teams to solve intractable problems and devising solutions to improve the products and services we offer our customersOn a rotating schedule, being available for on-call issue intake and/or resolution

About You:

You’re a fit for the role of Site Reliability Engineer if

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is preferred, in a related field, or equivalent practical experienceYou are familiar with at least one language such as: Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or Ruby.Basic understanding of the command-line and scripting for Windows and Linux/Unix systems as they pertain to the cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).You apply an evidence-based approach to solving problems in real-time to provide the fastest path to recovery. Understand the basics of software development and cloud operations such as CI/CD pipelines and related practices.You are familiar with modern hybrid cloud networking, web technologies, and containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).You understand the core concepts of databases.You understand the core concepts APIs.You have an understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms, or can follow coding practices and standards.
