ENTRY LEVEL Production Planner
Job Title: Production PlannerResponsibilitiesSchedule production orders accurately based on demand and stock levels.Monitor work-in-progress and provide status updates.Initiate escalation processes for slow-moving WIP and production disruptions.Consult with customer service to ensure timely delivery.Manage special customer requests and raw material purchase orders.Avoid downtimes due to missing materials and meet inventory targets.Prepare and analyze KPIs and reports to define actions using PDCA loop.Participate actively in various meetings to optimize product flow.Engage in lean activities to improve production processes.Essential SkillsProficiency in pivot tables and VLOOKUPs; knowledge of formulas is a plus.3+ years of planning experience or a college degree in business or supply chain.Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, but open to others.Manufacturing experience.ITAR compliance knowledge.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in production planning, supply chain, and inventory management.Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Excel tools.Understanding of procurement and purchasing processes.Work Environment

This position is 100% on-site, with flexible start times between 7-8 AM, Monday through Friday. The team consists of three members: one other planner, a buyer, and a shipping coordinator. There may be occasional overtime, but no Saturdays, with additional hours as needed. The work environment is a manufacturing setting, featuring a smaller, older office with a production floor, emphasizing an industrial atmosphere.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
