Entry Level Outside Sales Trainee
Position Description As an Entry Level Outside Sales Trainee you will enroll in our 12 month sales training program. During training you will travel to the United States for company paid training 1-2 weeks a month. When you are not attending training, you will work with a Sales Mentor as both an observer and participant. You will travel to customer sites where you will work with our customer service and installation teams enhancing your product knowledge. Once training is successfully completed, this position will transition to a Sales Professional position where you will be responsible for a territory and achieving monthly and annual sales quotas. Primary Responsibilities:-\tTraining weeks in the United States 15-25% of the time-\tComplete pre and post work for training workshops-\tActively participate in workshops-\tOn-site installation weeks (at customer location) 15-25% of the time-\tObserve and assist the installation team and customers to perform their functions -\tCommunicate with other internal groups to install customer\u2019s products in a timely manner-\tRide-along weeks with field Sales Professionals (at customer location) 50-70% of the time-\tObserve and learn the different steps of the sales process-\tLearn how a dealership functions on a daily basis -\tLearn how customers effectively use our software, how it benefits them and why customers purchase our solutions-\tAs a Sales Professional you will be responsible for achieving designated monthly and annual quotas by selling an assigned set of Reynolds products and services-\tMonitor individual work load and prioritize responsibilities-\tUse of time for learning, growth and developmentWorking Conditions:-\tDriving company vehicles to and from customer sites on a daily basis (sitting on average 1-4 hours) or flying to customer sites in Canada-\tOn-site installation weeks require frequent standing up to 8 hours a day assisting customers, with a 1 hour lunch break. -\tPacking, lifting and carrying personal luggage up to 50 lbs (discretionary) 15 minutes-1 hour a day-\tSimple grasping and fine manipulation (both hands) 3-6 hours a day (pointer\/mouse)-\tRequire to look at a computer screen up to 8 hours a day-\tAssisting specialists with demonstration equipment for set-up (30 minutes - 1 hour a day)Prior Experience:-\tExcellent presentation skills in English (French is an asset)-\tStrong written and verbal communication skills-\tStrong analytical skills-\tAbility to troubleshoot and problem solve-\tAbility to build strong customer relationships-\tAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment Training Requirements Bachelor\u2019s Degree required~^~Ability to understand and work with all PC based products~^~Must have a valid driver&'s license, with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI\/DUI\/DWI violations in the last five years~^~Ability to travel within Canada (overnight) up to 80-100% during training~^~Willing to relocate in Canada after successful completion of the training program~^~Ability to travel to the United States for company-paid training (current valid passport required) Benefits We strive to offer an environment that provides our associates with the right balance between work and family.
