Now Hiring: Packaging Technicians – Day & Night Shifts (Mechanical Focus)
Location: Charlotte, NC | Onsite at a leading food manufacturing facility

Manpower is currently seeking mechanically inclined Packaging Technicians to support the efficient and safe operation of high-speed packaging lines. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on mechanical experience, strong knowledge of hand tools, and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain production machinery.

 Key Responsibilities:

Lead setup, changeovers, and operation of packaging equipment. Troubleshoot issues involving machine components, sensors, and jams to minimize downtime. Perform basic maintenance and assist with preventative maintenance tasks. Monitor product quality, record production data, and support team training. Maintain compliance with GMP, PPE, safety, and quality standards.

🔧 Required Skills:

Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving abilities. Understanding of belts, gears, bearings, rollers, and other machine components. Proficient with hand tools and capable of basic machine adjustments. Ability to read and interpret production data and run sheets. Strong communication and leadership qualities.

 Shift Availability:

URGENT NEED: Night Shift (6:15 PM – 5:45 AM) – 13 openings Day Shift (5:45 AM – 6:15 PM) – 6 openings
Schedule: AWS (2-2-3); every other weekend required. Pay Rate: $24 per hour, weekly pay

 Additional Information:

Mechanical aptitude testing required- must pass Overtime is available and may be required. Opportunities for contract extension into FY26.
