Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** is seeking an **Entry Level Highway Engineer** to be based in **Conshohocken, PA** . _This position is expected to begin in June 2026._ In this role, you will work with more experienced engineers to design medium to large scale transportation projects in the Greater Pennsylvania Area. **The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:** + Develop design criteria, horizontal and vertical alignments, superelevation, barrier/guiderail design, and spot elevation details + Develop rigid and flexible pavement designs + Develop signing and pavement marking plans and details + Develop construction phasing plans + Identify utility conflicts and coordinate resolutions + Develop construction quantities and cost estimates + Develop 3D Models in OpenRoads and/or Civil 3D + Develop technical calculations and reports per client and/or internal AECOM standards **Current notable projects include:** + **I-95 RECONSTRUCTION** (Philadelphia, PA) – Urban interstate reconstruction including interchange ramp and local roadway re-alignments, traffic control, and utility coordination in final design to mitigate level of service and improve existing conditions + **STATE RD RECONSTRUCTION** (Bucks County, PA) – Suburban arterial reconstruction including right-of-way plan development, roadway geometry, pavement design, traffic control, and utility coordination in preliminary engineering to mitigate existing roadway flooding + **SR1 RECONSTRUCTION** (Chester County, PA) – Freeway reconstruction including profile adjustments, interchange reconstruction, interchange ramp realignments, multiple roundabout designs, trail designs, and side road alignment adjustments. + **US-22 RECONSTRUCTION** (Allentown, PA) – Urban interstate widening from 4 to 6 lanes. Project Includes bridge replacement, interchange reconfiguration, stream relocation, sound barriers, safety improvements, traffic control, and utility coordination. + **I-81 RECONSTRUCTION** (Avoca, Moosic, and Scranton, PA) - Urban Interstate reconstruction including mainline widening, 2 interchanges being fully reconstructed including ramp realignments, intersection improvements, right-of- way coordination, and structure coordination for 15 bridges along mainline and ramps. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education **Preferred Qualifications:** + EIT Certification + Relevant internship or co-op experience in highway design and/or transportation + Working knowledge of OpenRoads (ORD) or Civil3D design software and 3D modeling techniques **Additional Information** + Relocation assistance is not available for this position. + Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. + This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in **Conshohocken, PA.** The selected candidate must be available to work in **Conshohocken, PA** on a scheduled basis. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
