The Professional Division of Spherion Mid-Ohio is partnered with an established Ontario, Ohio CPA Firm seeking an Entry Level Accountant to join their team! This is an hourly position paying $25 per hour, based on background and experience.

The Entry Level Accountant - will support CPAs by performing bank reconciliations, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks. This in-office role requires proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks, as well as strong customer service skills to work with long-term clients and help maintain trusted relationships.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
Perform bank reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner Process payroll for various clients, ensuring compliance and confidentiality Handle bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and account maintenance in QuickBooks Assist with administrative duties such as document preparation, filing, and correspondence Prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheets and Word documents as needed Communicate professionally with clients to answer questions, resolve issues, and build strong relationships Provide support during tax season, including potential overtime hoursEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word Proficiency in QuickBooks is required Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Good customer service and interpersonal communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with discretion Eagerness to learn and contribute to a team-oriented environment Excellent communication skills required to communicate with both internal and external customers Excellent multi-tasking skills required Ability to work independently or on a teamBENEFITS:
