Job Title: Billing Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Analyst to join our team on a 2-4 month contract, assisting with the end of an acquisition. This role involves supporting and developing billing systems, processes, and policies within the fuel department.

ResponsibilitiesProvide input into the ongoing development and support of billing systems, processes, and policies.Reconcile orders for gas to match bill of ladings (BoL) and match invoice set to store.Reconcile the amount billed to store compared to the amount paid by stores.Resolve and track billing issues as they arise while working with the fuel and accounting support teams to fix root cause problems.Process billing adjustments timely and accurately to fuel accounts ensuring proper levels of authorization and documentation.Conduct invoicing review and variance analysis with required sign off.Essential SkillsProficiency in bank reconciliation, credit card transactions, and expense allocations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.1-2 years of relevant work experience.Understanding of accounting procedures, concepts, and internal control processes.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Work Environment

You will be joining a billing team focused on the fuel side, consisting of approximately 12 members. This role demands effective communication with field managers, as invoices are received through three different methods and processed by multiple teams. The position is a short-term, 2-4 month contract with potential for extension.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
