Description We are looking for an Entry Level Accountant to join our team in Indio, California. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial transactions and supporting accounting operations with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities: • Process and oversee accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Assist with cost accounting tasks, including monitoring inventory activities and analyzing cost variances. • Conduct data entry and maintain detailed and organized financial records. • Perform account reconciliations to verify accuracy and support month-end and year-end closing procedures. • Participate in general ledger tasks and contribute to various accounting projects. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper documentation and coding of expenditures. • Uphold compliance with established accounting policies and standards. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field. • Proficiency in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Strong skills in performing account reconciliations and bank reconciliations. • Familiarity with accounting software, particularly QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online. • Knowledge of preparing and recording accurate accounting entries. • High attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data. • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across departments.
