Responsibilities: Entertainment Technician I (Props & Puppets) supports the daily technical operation and maintenance of different shows and events at Hong Kong Disneyland. Each position has a specific focus within the technical team depending on experience. This position should also be able to lead the team to complete the routine maintenance and specific scenic project.
Props & Puppets Repair & MaintenanceResponsible for immediate Props, Puppets, Scenery and Parade Floats touch-up, repairs and maintenance to maintain artistic show qualityAble to train team member according the company training programCarry out daily & preventative maintenance, repairs on parade float, theatre scenic, show props and show puppetsFamiliar on fiberglass repair, Stage wood surface paintwork, colour pantones Basic Qualifications: Secondary school or aboveMinimum of 5 year working experience in backstage of theater or live Entertainment operations/entertainment equipment managementKnowledge in technical drawing software such as Photoshop, SketchKnowledge in MS officeExperience in dealing with vendor, sourcing & procurementAble to handle a physically demanding role that requires frequent lifting, climbing, squatting, working at heights and prolonged standingWillingness to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, guest-service oriented environmentWillingness to work on shift with occasional overnight shifts Preferred Qualifications: Associate’s degree holder or equivalent work experience.Driving license holder (Class 1 & 2) is an advantage.#hkdltechnician Additional Information: SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
Our Theme Park and Resort Hotels operate 365 days a year. Candidates will need to work shifts according to a roster that is determined by the Company, including shifts on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
