Responsibilities: The Entertainment Technician Event Team will have the experience of production in special events and seasonal offering. As an Entertainment Technician, you will install and operate the lighting, audio and video for dozens of seasonal events and one-off special event across our Parks and Resorts on a working basis.
ResponsibilitiesHotel event operation and maintenance of all entertainment technical elementsAssist technical production management to setup equipment for seasonal events Load in and operate equipment for conventions and special eventsProgram, mix and operate lighting/video/audio consoles for live shows and special eventsClean up all areas affected by installationProper care, operation, and prep of company Genie lift day before installation Basic Qualifications: 2+ years live entertainment experience in increasing roles of responsibilityEffective Chinese/English verbal and written communication skillsFull-time availability for a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidaysTechnically and mechanically inclined able to work with basic hand toolsComfortable working outdoors in inclement and/or extreme weather conditions in a physically active environmentWilling to work overnight and dynamic work hoursAble to work in a physically demanding role that requires lifting up to 50 lbs as well as frequent climbing, squatting, and standing for long durations of timeFully understanding of electrical systems and data signal flowMust have a proven safety track record - clean driving record and safety-first mindsetSpecialize in one or more of the following technical disciplines:AudioLive mixing including band, singers and actors (front of house and monitors)Experience setting up and tearing down audio gear (speakers, instruments, etc.)Proficient in programming and operating digital consoles and advanced audio programs (Q-SYS, Dante, etc.)VideoLive event experience building and operating video systemsMedia server and/or projection mapping knowledgeLED wall installation experienceLightingRead and implement lighting plotsExperience programming lighting consoles and moving lightsUnderstand basic lighting principles
Preferred Qualifications: Networking, programming, and computer skillsDriving license holder (Class 1 & 2) is an advantageRegistration of Electrical Worker/Holder of Safety Training Certificate is an advantage#hkdltechnician Additional Information: SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
Our Theme Park and Resort Hotels operate 365 days a year. Candidates will need to work shifts according to a roster that is determined by the Company, including shifts on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
