Citizens is seeking an experienced risk professional to join the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Team to help drive Strategic Risk Management and Oversight, and ERM enhancements. This role is responsible for oversight of Strategic Risk and Generative AI Risk oversight. This role ensures these programs are in alignment with applicable regulations, industry best practices, and strategic priorities of the organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in risk governance, data architecture, and cross-functional collaboration.
Primary responsibilities include
+ Lead strategic risk oversight and develop methodologies for assessing risks to the firm’s strategic plan.
+ Draft and maintain periodic strategic risk assessments.
+ Support the development and oversight of Generative AI risk management programs.
+ Own and maintain assigned policies, frameworks, and procedures related to strategic and Gen AI risk.
+ Serve as a trusted advisor on assigned risk policies and programs.
+ Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders across the enterprise to implement and mature risk programs.
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
+ Required Qualifications
+ 5+ years of relevant risk management experience in Financial Services
+ Working knowledge of GRC frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000), risk taxonomies, and regulatory expectations (OCC, FRB, FDIC).
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
+ Strong analytical and presentation skills.
+ Preferred Qualifications
+ Familiarity with Generative AI risk frameworks
+ Experience with Archer or other GRC tools
+ Experience in strategic risk or emerging technology risk domains
Hours & Work Schedule
+ Hours per Week: 40
+ Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
