**Job Description:**
This job is responsible for managing a major component of a product line, function, or multiple operations units within a large segment of the company's operations support functions. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing processes, programs, and systems to improve efficiency and ensure operational quality standards are met. Job expectations include managing two or more levels of managers.
The Enterprise Position Monitoring and Disclosures team is part of the Global Markets Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting department. The is a global function with three regional hubs covering the Americas, Asia Pacific and EMEA regions respectively. The regional teams monitor and disclose relevant positions and transactions under the regional substantial shareholdings, takeovers, residual short positions, and other regulatory position limits rules.
The EPMD Central lead will have dual regional and horizontal scope – primarily managing EPMD monitoring and disclosure preparation of non-financial regulatory reports under the relevant regulatory reporting laws (substantial shareholdings, takeovers, short positions, issuer requests and industry limits) in the EMEA region. Additionally, the role will have central responsibilities to drive functional transformation, establish & manage consistent cross regional global processes. The responsibilities of the EMEA Central lead include:
• Managing completion of all regulatory reporting obligations aligned to substantial shareholdings, takeovers, short positions, and other regulatory position limits in EMEA
• Oversee issue resolution arising from disclosures and discussing such issues with other Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting (NFRR) and Global Compliance & Operational Risk colleagues and work closely with the Front-Line Units
• Oversee the analysis of new rules and regulations pertaining to the monitoring and reporting of holdings of publicly traded equity and equity linked financial instruments as needed.
• Acting as main regional subject matter expert and primary contact for the Front Line Unit Businesses, Line of Business Compliance and legal team on shareholder disclosure matters
• Establishing and supervising effective monitoring processes and routines to ensure compliance with applicable industry and equity ownership limits throughout the region.
• Drive the execution of the governance framework over non-financial regulatory reporting & adherence to relevant internal BAC policies.
• Drive organizational transformation strategy to establish operational mindset and metrics driven culture across the global EPMD function.
• Refine and if required establish consistent global processes to support global counterparts on regulatory change management, operating model with second line advisory as well as control room functions.
• Support management team with resource and organizational strategy to effectively leverage global teams including captive set up to reduce key person risk and also effectively managing cost of regulatory compliance.
• Oversee the training and development of the Enterprise Monitoring & Disclosures team members and support their career development

• Participates in developing long-range strategic plans and develops and implements short-term tactical and profit plans
• Ensures operational quality and customer service levels are maintained in a cost effective manner
• Participates in implementation of updates and changes that affect operation segments and monitors performance to ensure operational quality standards are met
• Manages functions carrying a substantial risk of exposure and potential loss with significant impact on major corporate customer relationships

**Required Skills:**
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, banking industry, equity and derivative products.
• Knowledge of the key regulations concerning shareholder position reporting globally with specific emphasis to EMEA region (i.e.: EU Transparency Directive, UK DTR5, UK Takeover Code Rule 8)
• At least 10 years of experience with enterprise position monitoring & disclosures (also known as position reporting, shareholder disclosures, disclosure of interest) and sensitive industry, hard limit laws, rules and regulations, preferably in a management capacity
• Prior experience in transformative capacity (both systems and processes) to meet complex reporting requirements
• Previous experience in discussing global markets transactions with the Business and explaining the applicable regulatory disclosure obligations and/or relevant restrictions
• The ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines to a consistently high level of accuracy
• Strong technical skills (i.e. Excel, and other similar applications) with experience in analyzing, manipulating and reporting from large sets of structured data (e.g. books and records data)
• Excellent interpersonal skills with all levels of employees, conflict management
• Discrete when handling confidential information
• Able to demonstrate a high level of integrity with a mature approach to work
**Desired Skills:**
• Previous experience as department Head for the equivalent function
