We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Enterprise Partner Solutions (EPS) - Planning and Operations Director within the Industry & Partner Sales (IPS) Strategy & Operations team! Reporting to the Senior Director of IPS Strategy and Operations, you will lead EPS fiscal year commercial planning in partnership with the EPS leadership team, key business partners and cross Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) planning teams. You will also lead and manage the overall EPS leadership rhythm of business (RoB), facilitating collaboration and high impact business outcomes across our core and field leadership teams. In addition, you will have the opportunity to take on strategic projects/initiatives that accelerate growth and operational excellence for our EPS business (as prioritized). In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day. **Responsibilities** In this role, you will lead the EPS fiscal year commercial planning rhythms in close partnership with EPS Core and Regional teams, v-teams/Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across IPS/MCAPS, business partners and in alignment with MCAPS commercial planning motions. This includes: + Ensuring key stakeholders across the EPS organization are kept informed of core planning requirements, timelines, etc. in alignment to the broader IPS/MCAPS planning rhythms. + Facilitating EPS Fiscal Year (FY) strategy articulation/definition- in collaboration with the EPS leadership team, Small, Medium Enterprise, & Channel (SME&C)/Channel Partner Sales Operations team, cross IPS/MCAPS planning teams, and key business partners. + Integrating the full scale (breadth and depth) of core EPS strategies and priorities throughout all phases of commercial planning to drive alignment and consistency. + Leading key FY EPS strategy and planning workstreams including: + Role architecture/taxonomy requirements definition + Compensation + Blueprint + Territory (as applicable) + Change management/landing This work will require collaboration with the EPS leadership team (Core and Regional) and the SME&C/Channel Partner Sales team for shared partner services including Microsoft Public License (MPL), Microsoft Artificial Intelligence Partner Program (MAICPP), Incentives, Skilling, Compliance, etc. Partnering with relevant planning leaders to resolve risks/issues and facilitate key leadership team decision-making/escalation as needed. **EPS planning and operational leadership:** You will deliver comprehensive program management of the EPS planning and operations function and aligned workstreams. Working in close partnership with the EPS leadership team, IPS Strategy & Operations leadership, and key business partners, you will drive cross-org coordination and execution of core business rhythms, requirements/actions, reporting/executive status updates, etc. on time and with quality. Lead strategic projects or initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders across the company to address gaps/opportunities and drive strategies for optimization. This includes: + Performing landscape research and analysis (e.g., internal and/or external market, sales, delivery), forecasting, and examining business (e.g., customer feedback and expectations) trends to inform project/program scoping and definition. + Driving the identification and resolution of root problems through analysis and identification of appropriate mitigation strategies. + Defining project/program requirements and resource needs, creating the project plan(s) and working across teams to align on a plan of record. + Driving consensus to prioritize key business goals, objectives, and strategies that strive for clarity, simplification and business impact.   **Other**   + Embody our  culture  and  values  . **Qualifications** **Required/Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 8+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement + OR equivalent experience. + 8+ years of strategic program and/or project management experience - leading across global stakeholders, cross-functional domains, complex interdependencies, significant degrees of change/transformation with the ability to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of program/project management lifecycle (inception to landing/refinement). **Additional/Preferred Qualifications** + Master's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 12+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement + OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 15+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement + OR equivalent experience + Proven ability to define and design strategy, initiative and execution of deliverables while also driving execution of concurrent workstreams and responsibilities. + Demonstrated ability and willingness to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment and create clarity, deal with ambiguity, and establish new partnerships and priorities. + Successful track record in building partnerships and influencing senior stakeholder groups, as well as sophistication in internal advocacy in a large and highly matrixed environment. + Effective decision-making, conflict resolution, problem solving and negotiation skills. + Work experience from business management, program/project management, finance, management consulting and/or change management. The location for this position will be in Puget Sound, WA and may require minimal travel. Business Program Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $277,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $303,600 per year.
