Enterprise Operations Lead
**Description** Leidos is seeking an **Enterprise Operations Lead** to join our SCITES 2 team in Doral, FL. The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos currently is looking for an Enterprise Operations Lead to work onsite in Doral, Florida and have the opportunity to work in a high-profile IT and Cyber Services program supporting the United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES) 2 contract. Our customer maintains a highly demanding mission and requires our support to provide expert technical and professional management support to the commands enterprise Information Technology (IT) services. The Enterprise Operations Lead will provide direct support to the Program Manager and PMO and play a critical role in the successful execution of the program and support for USSOUTHCOM and the warfighter. **Primary Responsibilities** + Lead and oversee a team of seasoned IT professionals and team operations, providing direction, support, and quality review while allowing for independent task execution. + Provide key input on personnel decisions, including hiring, performance evaluations, promotions, terminations, and recognition—for both direct employees and time-and-material subcontractors working in an integrated Leidos-subcontractor environment. + Oversee daily IT operations ensuring the continuous, efficient, and secure operation of all IT systems, including networks, servers, databases, and applications. + Oversee system maintenance and upgrades, including performance tuning, storage allocation, and implementation of critical system patches. + Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, such as network diagrams, configuration records, administrative guides, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). + Support modernization efforts by transitioning to next-generation technologies, managing legacy systems, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality outcomes. + Collaborate with the customer to gather detailed requirements and clarify project expectations. + Ensure IT security and compliance by overseeing the implementation and application of cybersecurity best practices, including configuration in accordance with DISA STIGs and other applicable security standards and maintaining robust security measures to protect the organization's data and systems, and ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulations, and internal policies. + Monitor and track the performance of team tasks and projects, ensuring successful completion of both short-term deliverables and long-term objectives. + Maintain budget alignment for assigned projects, adjusting scope and resourcing based on financial analysis. + Influence project and team leaders by offering expert input on solution design, processes, and technical approaches. + Leverage deep technical expertise to apply advanced principles, methodologies, and best practices in support of mission objectives. + Act as a primary contact for critical operations-related issues and incidents, coordinating responses, and supporting efforts to identify and mitigate risks to the system and ongoing operations. + Drive process improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and productivity within IT operations and implementing policies, procedures, and processes to achieve those improvements. + Communicate critical and time-sensitive information directly to leadership and team members, and provide status updates on projects, budgets, and performance. **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline and 8+ years or prior relevant experience or master’s with 6+ years of prior relevant experience, in lieu of a degree additional years of specific experience will be accepted. + 2+ years of experience leading technical teams, with a demonstrated ability to manage priorities, mentor team members, and drive project execution. + Strong analytical and time management skills, with a proven ability to balance multiple priorities in fast-paced environments. + Excellent communication skills, with a focus on effective customer engagement and the ability to clearly convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. + Possess an ITIL 4 certification. + Possess a CompTIA Network+ or Security+ Certification + Must have and be able to maintain a DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Possess at least IAT Level II Certification. + Possess a PMP. + Is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) + Possess a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent + Experience leading a team responsible for IT operations and sustainment desired. **Clearance Requirement:** + Must possess an active TS/SCI at time of consideration **Original Posting:** July 22, 2025 For U.S. Positions: While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above. **Pay Range:** Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
