Position Overview

The Named Account Expansion Sales Representative is a critical sales role focused on driving growth within a portfolio of existing enterprise accounts. This role is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and securing new revenue opportunities through strategic up-selling, cross-selling, and add-on sales.

As a quota-carrying position, success is measured by meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets. The role collaborates closely with Named Account Sales Executives, Named Account Sales Managers, and the broader sales and customer success teams to maximize account penetration and long-term customer value.

This is a hybrid, hub-based position located in Barcelona, Spain, offering a dynamic blend of remote and in-office collaboration.

Responsibilities

Drive new business growth by strategically expanding existing Named Accounts

Develop and execute a business plan to achieve sales targets by analyzing market trends, historical performance, customer portfolios, and total addressable market

Manage the entire sales cycle, including business development, prospecting, negotiation, and post-sales support

Provide accurate and timely weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts

Understand customer challenges and requirements to recommend tailored Autodesk solutions

Maintain a solid understanding of Autodesk products, industry trends, competitive offerings, and Autodesk Subscription & Advanced Support

Utilize Salesforce.com to document customer interactions, opportunities, and activities

Ensure Salesforce.com opportunities are consistently updated with probability definitions for accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management

Foster strong business relationships with Named Account Sales Executives and their leadership teams

Collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote engagement with in-office teamwork to drive productivity and alignment

Work closely with marketing, customer success, and technical teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and maximize account expansion opportunities

Actively contribute to the team, sharing best practices, insights, and strategies to drive overall team success

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of IT sales experience, preferably in enterprise or named account sales. Knowledge of the Enterprise sector is a plus

Proven ability to drive sales growth through up-selling, cross-selling, and account expansion strategies

Strong work ethic: team-oriented, self-starter, high-energy, and results-driven

Ability to adapt quickly and effectively manage challenging sales situations

Familiarity with sales processes, CRM tools, and modern sales methodologies (e.g., Solution Selling, Challenger Sales, or similar approaches)

Highly proficient computer skills, including internet research, Salesforce.com (SFDC), Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Hybrid work adaptability, with the ability to collaborate effectively in both remote and in-office settings

Willingness to travel as required for customer meetings, events, and internal business reviews

Native-level proficiency in both English (spoken and written) and a Nordic language is required
