We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Regional Digital and IT Operations Leader to support our operations in Erie, Saegertown, and Cambridge Springs. This role will provide overall IT leadership for digital operations, manufacturing systems, shop floor systems, manufacturing automation, business analysis, and related technologies. Acting as the primary liaison between IT and the business, you will ensure that our digital initiatives align with operational goals while enhancing efficiency and productivity. This position has dotted line reports and plays a critical role in influencing and guiding cross-functional teams.
IT Leadership and Strategy
+ Serve as the IT Lead for the Erie based team and c oordinate project phases, schedules, and resources with the Division IT Manager.
+ Provide strategic direction and leadership for digital and IT operations within the region, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
+ Act as the primary liaison between IT and business units, facilitating communication and collaboration to drive digital initiatives.
+ Develop and implement IT strategies that support manufacturing operations and enhance overall business performance.
Digital Operations Management
+ Oversee the deployment and maintenance of manufacturing systems, shop floor systems, and manufacturing automation technologies.
+ Collaborate with teams to optimize processes related to MES, SCADA, SPC, and PLC systems, ensuring they meet operational needs.
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance digital operations and operational efficiency.
Project Management
+ Lead and manage IT projects for the region, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgetary constraints.
+ Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and alignment with business objectives.
+ Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.
Business Analysis and ERP Knowledge
+ Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for leveraging technology to improve manufacturing processes and systems.
+ Utilize knowledge of ERP systems as they relate to manufacturing to support integration and optimization efforts.
+ Provide insights and recommendations to enhance system capabilities and user experience.
Collaboration and Support
+ Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that digital and IT solutions are effectively integrated and supported across the region.
+ Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging the adoption of new technologies and best practices.
+ Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the effectiveness of digital tools and systems.
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent resident
Education
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required.
+ Master’s degree in a relevant field is highly desirable.
Experience
+ 8+ years of experience in IT operations, digital transformation, or manufacturing systems support.
+ Proven experience in project management, with a focus on IT and digital initiatives.
Technical Skills
+ Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, shop floor systems, and automation technologies (e.g., MES, SCADA, SPC, PLC).
+ Familiarity with ERP systems and their application in manufacturing environments.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Leadership and Interpersonal Skills
+ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.
+ Strong leadership qualities, with a focus on fostering teamwork and driving results without direct reports.
This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.
